Around Christmas 2019 I received a box of Henry Fischer's diaries from my dad, Henry's grandson. I looked over some of them, cherry picking important dates like Pearl Harbor 7 December 1941, Otmer Fischer getting drafted 11 February 1941, etc. to see his take on them. It quickly became apparent that if it didn't happen to him personally or sometimes to a family member, it wasn't going to be mentioned. I decided to put them online because it was a fun little project and will allow others to be able to read them as well.
