Leona was born to Lewis German and Francis Knippen on 16 November 1916 in Jennings Township, Putnam County, Ohio.

Family

Leona was married and had a daughter before marrying Otmer Fischer on 14 October 1952. They didn't have any children together, but raised Leona's daughter together.
