Otmer Fischer

Otmer John Fischer (7 October 1914 - 19 March 1987) was the third son of Henry Fischer.

Early Life

Otmer was born to Henry Fischer and Crescentia Elwer on 7 October 1914 in Washington Township, Van Wert County, Ohio which is southwest of Delphos, Ohio. He was fourth of ten children, the third boy. For the time covered in the diaries he lived at home before getting drafted and spending years in the Army during WWII.

Family

On 14 October 1952 he married Leona German. Together they raised Leona's daughter from a previous marriage.
