Hubert Fischer

Hubert Benedict Fischer (30 January 1911 - 11 October 1984) was the second son of Henry Fischer.

Early Life

Hubert was born to Henry Fischer and Crescentia Elwer on 30 January 1911 in Washington Township, Van Wert County, Ohio which is southwest of Delphos, Ohio. He was the second of ten children, the second boy. For the time covered in the diaries he lived at home and helped on the farm before being drafted in 1942 and spending a few years in the Army during WWII.
