Ruth Christine Fischer (16 October 1927 - 26 December 2009) was the youngest child of Henry Fischer.
Early Life
Ruth was born to Henry Fischer and Crescentia Elwer on 16 October 1927 in Washington Township, Van Wert County, Ohio which is southwest of Delphos, Ohio. She was the youngest of ten children, the fifth and youngest girl. For the time covered in the diaries she lived at home.
Family
On 2 June 1951 she married Arthur Ernst. Together they had five children, three boys and two girls.
